ANSELM BERTRAND CLOUDEN is a Managing Partner of Grenlaw Chambers.

A Lawyer in private practice, Mr. Clouden is currently an Ambassador/Special Envoy of the Government of Grenada to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) which is based in London, England, with Mr. Clouden functioning from Grenada.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mr. Clouden’s qualifications are LLM (International Law of the Sea) (1980)
University of Dalhousie, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; LLB (1976)
University of Ottawa, Canada; and BA (1973) University of Carleton, Ottawa, Canada.

Mr. Clouden also attended the University of Long Island, New York, USA, 1968-70.
Mr. Clouden obtained his secondary education, 1963-68, from the Grenada Boys Secondary School, Grenada.

ARTICLES OF CLERKSHIP

Mr. Clouden did Articles of Clerkship with the Law Firm of Lindsay & Pitt, 360 Bloor Street, Toronto, Canada. His Principal was Mr. Romain Pitt, now Mr. Justice Romain Pitt, High Court Judge, Supreme Court of Ontario (General Jurisdiction), Ontario, Canada.

ADMITTED TO PRACTICE

Mr. Clouden was on 19 December 1978 admitted to the Bar of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Mr. Clouden was on 29 January 1979 admitted to practice before the High Court of Justice in Grenada.
